Nathanial Harper

A cinematographer/DP with over 15 years experience filming high-end projects. I have DP’d Narrative Films, numerous feature documentaries, over 250 hours of broadcast television, as well as wildlife specials, music videos, branded content and much more.

After attending film school at Bond University in Australia I moved to New York City where I started my career. I have since found my way back to my native Canada where I continue to film for clients worldwide.

My work takes me all over the globe and I really enjoy telling unique stories in compelling and beautiful ways. Whether it’s managing my crew on a big budget narrative piece, or getting nimble in run and gun skeleton crew scenarios, I am experienced and comfortable with all scopes and sizes of productions.

I enjoy both narrative and documentary work for different reasons and I really like the flexibility of being able to execute in both areas as I believe there is always learning experiences that I can take from one genre to the next.

Whether it’s swimming with Great White Sharks, standing feet from Polar bears, embedding in a hostile location or filming beautifully lit feature films I’m always looking for an adventure and a collaborative experience with other creatives.
